4. The Engineer reported on the action taken.and recommendations
made by the Street TreeCommittee and reported that he had had planted
twelve elm trees and some barberry bushes along Cayuga Heights Road,
a large portion of the cost of which he expected to obtain from the
owners of adjoining property. He also reported a recommendation
from this committee for the-passage of an ordinance prohibiting all -
night parking on the streets of the Village. Inasmuch as this was
brought up by the parking on the grass on the east side of the road
by the car owners of Kappa Delta Rho, it was decided that the Mayor
should take the matter up with the fraternity and see if conditions
could not be bettered without the necessity of the passing of an
ordinance.
5. The Engineer further reported his plan for oiling and repair
of roads and, streets of the Village. His plan was approved and
instructions given to the Engineer to proceea as recommended4. —.WA_4
