Faber, 11 11 ------ - - - - -- 26.50 Carl Crandall, Services ---------------- - - - - -- 62.00 Ithaca Journal News, Publication of Notice - --- .96 WATER SYSTEM Carl Crandall, Services ----------=----- - - - - -- 105.00 Carl Crandall, Services --------------- - - - - -- 45.00 2: A report was received from Engineer Crandall concerning the sewer connections made to date and the Clerk was instructed to forward a letter to'those residents of the Village who.have not as yet connected with the sanitary sewer, requesting their coopera- tion, with a special letter' to be sent to those residents outside the Village limits who are in a convenient area to connect with the sanitary sewer. 3. A report was made by,Engineer.Crandall giving a.system of official numbering of the properties in the Village and recommend- ing that this system of numbering be adopted by the Board. After discussion it was ' RESOLVED :.That an official system of numbering as shown on Map No. .6 entitled 1,'Lot owners and house numbers" prepared by Carl Crandall, C.E., be.adopted as the official.system of numbers for the Village, and that Engineer Crandall be requested to send notice .to those residents of the Village whose numbers have been changed. 4. The report of Engineer Crandall concerning the new standpipe, under consideration. to improve the Village water supply was app ove a Crandall authorized to continue negotiations with the oer parties interested. 5. Upon motion duly made and seconded it was RESOLVED : That the date for the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga. Heights be fixed as the third Monday of each month. 6. A.report was received from Engineer Crandall recommending the securing of a deed from Messrs. J. T. Newman and Charles H. Blood conveying all their right, title and interest in and to any of the streets of the Village to said Village. In order that the residents of the Village shall have full knowl.edge.of this proposed action, it was e RESOLVED : That notice of.the intention: to secure a deed of this nature should th be sent'out wi the' notice for the next annual meeting of the Village. 238 7. The minutes of the last previous meeting were read and approved. 2. Engineer Carl Crandall was authorized to negotiate with Mr. Sheldon for an option on the necessary plots of ground and rightsof way for the erection of a standpipe and report at the next meeting of the Board. 4. The committee appointed to meet with the officials of LX the City in connection with the building of a' standpipe to increase the water supply of the Village reported that negotiations were under way and it was instructed to continue e otiations with the idea of determining the amount to be e by those users of waters residing outside the Village limits. 5. A committee consisting of Trustee Stevens and Clerk Simmons was appointed to prepare a tentative budget for the Village for the coming fiscal year. 6. The Mayor was authorized to appoint a nominating committee ® to make up a slate of officers to be elected at the annual elec- tion of the Village. Mr. Sherman Peer and Mr.. Lyman P. - 9m:jthWj)90h were appointed on this committee. i 7. Authority was ranted.to Engineer Crandall to investigate the requests of Miss label Walbridge and °'r. Wm. C. Geer for a change of numbers for their properties.within the Village and to make the necessary changes to satisfy these two residents if he found that it could be done without seriously involving the system of numbering adopted by the Board. S. It was RESOLVED: That a meeting of the residents of the Village be called for 7:30 P. M. on Monday, March 7th, 1932, at the School House in said Village. 9. Pursuant to Section 52 of the Village Law it was RESOLVED: That the annual election for the Village of Cayuga Heights shall be held in the Public School House in said Village on the 15th day of March, 1932, and that the polls for such election shall be open from four otclock in the afternoon of that day until eight o'clock in the afternoon ' thereof.
