Wiegand, Acting Mayor L. P. Wilson, Trustee H. E. ,Whiteside, Trustee E. H. Wanzer, Trustee A. J. Heinicke, Treasurer 1. The minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved: 2. The payment of the following bills heretofore made on the approval of the Mayor were approved LIGHT FUND N.Y.S.Electric Corporation, September 'lights ----- - - - - -- $74.00 HIGHWAY FUND S. R. E. VanNatta, mimeographing kpaid by Trustee L.P.Wilson) '2.50 3. The payment of the sum of $100.00 to the Clerk for collection of taxes for the Village was ordered. , 4. The installation of three additional street lights in the Village to be located, one on Hanshaw.Road near Renwick Heights Drive; one on Cayuga Heights Road near Renwick Heights Drive, the other on Cayuga Heights Road near the southern boundary of the Village, and the third on Cayuga Heights Road near the residence of Trustee Whiteside, was approved. '1�5.• Acting Mayor Wiegand reported on the sewer proposition,and it was requested that Mayor.Wiegand arrange for a special meeting , of the Board of Public Works of the City of Ithaca; to consider the making of an agreement between the City and the Village.for the disposal.'of the Village sewage. 162 6. Engineer Carl Crandall was requested to take up the question of the covering of the fire hydrants in the Village and also having them tested before Winter. Adjourned L. N. Whiteside, Trustee E. H. Wanzer, Trustee A. J. Heinicke, Treasurer Carl Crandall, Engineer 1.. The proposed contract to be executed by and between the City of Ithaca and the Village of Cayuga Heights providing for the disposal ' of sewerage from the Village was discussed. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED : That a Committee of Trustees be appointed by Acting bfayor Wiegand to cooperate with, and assist Engineer Carl Crandall in his efforts to have certain portions of the proposed contract clarified, and it was FURTHER RESOLVED : That this Committee so appointed, be, empowered to pass upon and approve the final draft of said contract as finally agreed upon by the representatives of the City and the members of the Committee, and that the Acting I4ayor, K. M. Wiegand, be authorized to sign and execute said contract when completed and agreed upon, and that the Clerk of the Village, L. N. Simmons, be authorized to attest the signature of the said K. M. Wiegand as Acting Mayor, and to attach to said contract the corporate seal df the Village. 2. Engineer Carl Crandall was authorized to proceed with construction plans and specifications for the new sewage system and the Clerk was authorized to file the necessary plans and secure the necessary approval of the State Health Department for the construction Of sewer system as and when final plans are completed.
