The bid.of the P. D.'Conley Construction Company was the only
bid presented ,, 'for' -the improvement of'.E. Upland Road, °Iroquois Road,
Oakhill hoad.and.Oakhill Place. This bid, which approximated $23,500.
the amount of Ahe estimate_ by-the .Engineer, was. on motion".duly. made
and seconded ',,'accepted for all three streets'and the Mayor was
authorized .-to _sign a contract and attach thereto the corporate seal.
of the Village for..the improvements called for in the specifications.

It was "voted to authorize the Engineer in charge'of the work, Mr.
Carl Crandall, to employ an inspector for such time:as will be
necessary.for the proper inspection and control of.the work done..
