Special Meeting of the Board of- Trustees
of the Village of Cayuga Heights held
on May 17th, 1928.
Present :
W. L. Williams, Mayor
L. P. Wilson, Trustee
S. S. Garrett,'Trustee
K. M. Wiegand, Trustee
W. A. Hagan, Trustee
The plans for the improvement of East Upland Road, Iroquois Road,
Oakhill Road and Oakhill'Place were considered and were approved with
the understanding that the plans for the improvement of Oakhill Road
should b&,modified by making the curb parallel with the sidewalk and
the street made 24 feet in width if, in the opinion of the Engineer,
it is possible to do so.
The Mayor was authorized to advertise for bids on the improvement
of these streets as three separate contracts and also as one contract
for the four streets.
On motion duly had it was voted.to employ Engineer Carl
Crandall to make.the necessary preliminary survey and prepare plans
for a sewage system in accordance with the requirements of the State.
Board of Health, with the understanding that the cost of such
preliminary survey shall not exceed $2,000, these plans to include
a rough estimate of a cost of a separate system of disposal fdr'..the
Village.
The annual tax levy on a basis of six mills was approved by
the trustees.
