Special Meeting April 10, 1924.
Present: C. H. Myers, President
Dwight Sanderson, Trustee
C. K. Burdick, Trustee
R. A. Mordoff, Treasurer
Minutes of the meeting held April 1, 1924, read and approved
with changes specified.
Voted to designate the First National Bank as depository for
Village funds.
President reported as follows:
That'the State Income Tax to be returned to village would not
be available before July.
That he had had written Professor Conwell of the Cornell
Highway Engineering Department concerning the advisability of
applying a coat of Tarvia to the Highland Road pavement during
the early summer months, but had had no reply as yet.
That he had written Professor C. L. Durham concerning the
payment of a bill owed the village for filling soil used in
September, 1922, but to date had received no reply.
That he had conferred with four prospective men for the
job of collecting garbage end ashes in the village during the coming
3 *ear and had asked them to submit bids for the job. None had yet
been received.
Voted to have the Clerk notify A. G. Hurlbutt of his appoint-
ment to the office of Street Commissioner and ask him to file the
customary oath of office.
Clerk reported that he had notified W. J. Belle, Collector
that his bond was raised to $2000 and that IGr. Bells had advised
him that he had secured same and would forward it to the Glerk.
Remainder of meeting spent on the Tax Roll.
Voted to adjourn until April 17, 1924 for further work on the
Tax Roll
