HomeMy WebLinkAboutSpec Mtg. Minutes 12/2/1985L t MINUTES of a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees held December 2,-1985 at 7:30 p.m. in the Village Hall. PRESENT: Mayor F: G. Marcham; Trustees Anderson, Bennett,,Camp, Kira, Pimentel; Attorney Sovocool; Engineer Rogers; Lieut. Wall. ABSENT: Trustee Fleming. OTHERS PRESENT: M/M Stanley L'Connor, Bob Flumerfelt, Tibby Mclafferty, Kay Newman, and several Village residents. The Board took up the matter of Mrs. O'Connor's request for permission for sub- division and proposed driveway.at 1010 Hanshaw Road. The Engineer reported that he-and Lieut. Wall had taken sight'distance measurements from the point of the proposed driveway looking to the east on Hanshaw Road and they arrived at a measurement of 200 feet. The Engineer wished to point out that the proposed placement of the driveway on Lot A was the "least'unsafe" location for a drive- way within the-Village boundary. Motion made by Trustee Bennett, seconded by Trustee Kira: RESOLUTION 3657 - APPROVE O'CONNOR PROPOSAL FOR SUBDIVISION AND DRIVEWAY LOCATION FOR RALEIGH ESTATE VOTED to approve the proposed subdivision and driveway location of the Raleigh Estate at 1010 Hanshaw Road as requested by Mrs. Janet O'Connor and according to the plan submitted by her. Unanimously passed. Trustee Anderson Voting Yes Trustee Bennett Voting-Yes Trustee Camp Voting Yes Truatee-Kira Voting Yes Trustee Pimentel Voting Yes . Mr. Robert Flumerfelt submitted for Board approval a proposal for engineering services to be rendered in connection with the planning for repair or replacement of damaged or deteriorated walks - copies of his report had been distributed to Board members prior to the November regular meeting. Several of the'Trustees believed there should be some modification to Mr. Flumerfelt's report, particu- larly in connection eith redundant walks-and the Trustees agreed to meet on Sunday, December 8 at 9'a.m. to re- examine certain, designated sections of side- walks in the Old Village along with the Village Engineer and Mr. Flumerfelt. Motion made by Trustee Pimentel, seconded by Trustee Kira: RESOLUTION 3658 - BOARD TO CONSIDER MODIFICATION OF FLUMERFELT REPORT VOTED to consider further the recommendations made by Robert Flumerfelt in his first report and will do so on the basis of a study which they will undertake of parts of the sidewalk in the Old Village. Unanimously passed.
