Report of Z /O, Building Commissioner
During the past month the following permits were issued: 1 Zoning Permit for
addition /alteration at a construction cost of $3,200.
The Zoning Board of Appeals met at 7:00 p.m., November 29 to hear a request for a
variance for average width of lot and sideyard setback from Mr. Harry Missirian for
his remaining house and lot at 4 Highland,Park Lane. Mr. Missirian appeared before
the Board of Trustees acting As the Planning Board to request a subdivision of his
property at 4 Highland Park Lane. The ZBA delayed their decision until they received
clarification of the Board resolution granting permission under certain conditions,
to Missirian to subdivide.
A request was received to build a "carry out" restaurant (cookie and sandwich bar)
at the Community Corners. The permit was not issued and the person requesting was
referred to the Board under'Section 4 2 -c of the Zoning Ordinance.
Dr. Janas of 110 Highgate Road wishes to sell off the back 20' of his property to
his neighbor, Joe Moresco. There would be no zoning violations resulting to the
remaining land and house if this subdivision were approved and he did sell the back
20'.
