SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for November 1984
The Police Department handled 60 complaints and investigated
9 motor vehicle accidents during the month. There were 56 traffic
tickets and 18 parking tickets issued..
There were four felony complaints, three for burglary and one for
grand larceny. There were nineteen misdemeanor complaints, six
for petit larceny, four criminal . mischief, three criminal trespass,
three aggravated harassment, one issuing bad check, one falsely
reporting incident(fire alarm), and one menacing.
Two persons were arrested on felony charges of Burglary 2nd degree,
one person was arrested on the felony charge of Possession of Stolen
Property 1st degree, and one person was arrested for three-counts
of Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor. Two juveniles were apprehended
for Trespass.
There was a total of $3,046.00 in property reported lost or stolen
during the month and $1,220.00 in property was recovered by the
Police Department.
The full -time officers worked 43 hours overtime during the month
and the part -time officers worked 30 hours.
