Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights From: Francis L. Miller, Fire Chief Re: Report of the Fire Chief for May 1984 For the month of May, I have to report the Fire Department responded to 9 fire calls, 5 incident calls, and,5 rescue calls. This brings us to a total of 25 fire calls and 30 rescue calls for a year to date figure. The fire calls are broken down as follows; 3 False alarms at N.E.Elementary School 1 Gas flush 2 False alarms at our station 1 False alarm at 115 Ridgewood -Road 1 False alarm at B.O.C.E.S. 1 Car fire at Community Corners The incidents are broken down as follows; 2 Gas flushes 1 Wire burning against a tree 1 Check out open burning 1 Assist Cayuga Heights P.D. The rescue calls are broken down as; 1 Unconsious person 1 Chest pains 1 Motor vehicle accident with 2 patients 2 Choking on a piece of meat (same person both times) I will not be at the meeting tonight because the bunker at the Fire Station and I will be attending the New York State Fire Chief's Convention in the Catskills.
