A request to build a garage at 1 Parkway Place closer to the side property
line than 15' and closer to the road than 25' was denied and the owner,
Jean Lacey has applied to the Z B A for a variance:
JFJ Enterprises (Mobil Stop -n -Shop) negotiations and Vorusty law suit are
still in process, thereby delaying possible action by the Zoning Officer.
The owner of 500 Hanshaw Rd was notified that a Zoning Permit and Building Permit
were needed for the shed that had been erected on this property and that the
present location of the shed was in violation of the Zoning Ordinance. A
permit was issued for the erection of the shed in a location that met all
Village Zoning Ordinances.
A question as to whether a "TV Dish" antenna was permitted in the Village
under the Zoning Ordinances, was answered by stating that our Pei - missive
Ordinances did not list "TV Dishes" and therefore they were not permitted.
May 31 is a rescheduled New York State Uniform Fire Prevention and Building
Code workshop, that the Zoning Officer will attend.
