Re: Fire Chief's Report for April 1984
The Fire Department responded 18 times in the month of April. Three
times were fire calls, four times were incidents, and 11 times were
rescue calls. The three fire calls were a transformer shorting out
after a tree branch fell on the lines, a toaster malfunction, and a
mop fell against a fire alarm box.
A gas flush, investigate a smoke filled apartment, and two basements
with 6 inches and 1 inch of water make up the incident calls.
The 11 Rescue Squad calls were made up of the following:
Abdominal pain
Personal illness
Skate board accident
Chainsaw accident
Knee injury
Fall
Difficulty breathing
Man down
Assist putting person back in bed
Scalp laceration
Dislocated knee
Respectfully submitted
