Miller Fire Chief Re: Fire Chief's Report for April 1984 The Fire Department responded 18 times in the month of April. Three times were fire calls, four times were incidents, and 11 times were rescue calls. The three fire calls were a transformer shorting out after a tree branch fell on the lines, a toaster malfunction, and a mop fell against a fire alarm box. A gas flush, investigate a smoke filled apartment, and two basements with 6 inches and 1 inch of water make up the incident calls. The 11 Rescue Squad calls were made up of the following: Abdominal pain Personal illness Skate board accident Chainsaw accident Knee injury Fall Difficulty breathing Man down Assist putting person back in bed Scalp laceration Dislocated knee Respectfully submitted Francis L.
