Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for September 1983 The Police Department handled 78. complaints and investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents during the month. There were 78 traffic tickets and 48 parking tickets issued. There was one felony complaint for burglary and twenty -one misdemeanor complaints, seven for issuing had checks, six petit larceny, four criminal mischief, three aggravated harassment,' one assault third degree.'. Two persons were. - arrested for issuing bad checks, 3 persons were arrested for driving while intoxicated, and one person was arrested for assault third degree. One juvenile was apprehended for criminal mischief. There was a total of $1,856.48 in property reported lost or stolen and $160.89 in property recovered by the Police Department. The full -time officers worked 38 hours overtime and 17 hours STOP -DWI overtime and the part -time officers worked 88 hours during the month. Re pec fully su mitted, Harlin R. McEwen Chief of Police
