Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights Re: Report of the Fire Chief for September 1983 There were 9 fire calls in September. 6 Accidental Automatic alarms called us. 2 low water pressure 1 carpet installers hit alarm wire with hot iron 1 carpenters sanding set off detector 1 malfunction of a detector 1 champagne cork hit heat detector 1 Glove fire 1 Gas odor 1 Electrical problem There were 2 incident calls. 1 Self- cleaning oven filled house with smoke 1 Assist person with a dead dog There were 19 Rescue Squad calls. 2 Fall from trees 1 Fall in apartment 1 Difficulty breathing 2 Dislocated elbows 1 Diabetic problem 2 Knee injuries 1 Bruise on head 1 Fall from ladder 1 Seizure 1 Man down 2 Cardiac problems 1 Head injury 2 Ankle injuries 1 Female hemmoraging The new rescue truck was put in service on September 24.
