The cost of the pointing was $288. The cost of the roof repair and the'water proof- ing of the parapet wall was $272. Breaks in the water proofing mem- brane on the parapet wall were the cause-of water getting into the block wall and hence, the breaking down of the mortar. The roof repair will be adequate for this year but all .three . flat roofs at the Fire House should be resaturated with'an asphalt oomPound at the rate of 8 gallons per square before more leaks occur. The,cost for removal of the stone on top of the three roofs, repair, or replacing of flash- ing, and resaturation with an asphalt roofing material at the rate of 8 gallons per square, and the replacing of the stone on the roof would cost an estimated $6300. It is recommended that this be put in the budget for next year and the work be done next spring or early summer. Ch.ar,ges. for . sewage treatment':should be 'paid to the Village as, ,a Village resident at the rate of one unit rather than a.unit and a half.
