TELEPHONE 607. 257 -1011 CHIEF OF POLICE September 19, 1983 TO: Honorable Frederick G. Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for August 1983 The Police Department handled 82 complaints and investigated 5 motor vehicle accidents during the month. There were 58 traffic tickets and 22 parking tickets issued. There were six felony complaints, three for burglary, two for grand larceny, and one attempted burglary. There were twenty - nine misdemeanor complaints, eleven petit larceny, nine issuing bad checks, three criminal mischief, two aggravated harassment, two attempted petit larceny, one criminal possession of stolen property, and one illegal possession of fireworks. One person was arrested for petit larceny (shoplifting). There was a total of $5,545.51 in property reported lost or stolen and $84.87 in property recovered by the Police Department. The full -time officers worked 6 hours regular overtime and 15 hours STOP -DWI overtime and the part- time.officers worked 104 hours during the month. Re pectfule submitted, bmitted, Harlin R.
