REPORT OF THE ENGINEER

STREAM MAINTENANCE
$1000 was granted to the Village by the County for stream maintenance to prevent
flooding. The Village workforce has removed trees and other debris from stream
beds of all major streams in the Village.
Money was not granted by the County to construct a concrete wall in the small
gorge on the north side of Remington Road between Cayuga Heights Road and Highland
Road. The wall is needed to underpin the edge of Remington Road and protect the
shale cliff from further erosion. The project will have to be budgeted (an estim-
ated cost of $6,000) by the Village or apply for County stream maintenance money
in the future.

sidewalks.
