Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights From: Francis L. Miller, Chief of Fire Department Re: Fire Chief's Report for August 1983 The Fire Department members responded to 12 fire calls during August. 1 Kitchen fire 2 False Alarms 1 Gas Flush 1 Mop Fire 1 Accidental Alarm 1 Water Leak Into a Smoke Detector 1 Truck Fire 1 Stump Fire 1 Washer Motor 1 Electric Short 1 Refrigerator Motor The Fire Department Rescue Squad responded to 8 Rescue calls. 2 Cardiac calls 1 Head'Injury 1 Motor Vehicle Accident 2 Difficulty Breathing 1 Seizure 1 Personal Illness The Fire Council of the Cayuga Heights Fire Department would like to recommend to the Village Board that the old rescue truck could be used by the Fire Department to good advantage. We would like to remove the compartments from the back of the vehicle and have a wooden stake bed put on. This could be used for hauling pumps etc, without using another larger truck.
