Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights From: Francis L. Miller, Fire Chief Re: Report of the Fire Chief for July 1983 During the month of July we answered 3 false alarms at a new building Cornell built at the Plantations on Forest Home Drive, 1 false alarm at B.O.C.E.S., 1 field fire on North Triphammer Road, 1 dumpster fire at Warrenwood Apartments, and 1 mutual aid apartment fire in the Village of Lansing for a total of 7 fire calls for the month. The members of the Department made 2 incident calls. One was to make sure the steam from a car on Warren Road was steam and not smoke, anx the other was to help an apartment dweller get into the apartment she had locked herself out of with a pot of water boiling on the stove. The rescue Squad had 3 cardiac calls, 1 child with hand crushed in a car door, 1 bee sting, and 1 ankle injury on Jessup Field. The new rescue truck is nearing completion and we hope it will be delivered before the end of August. Respectfully submitted, Francis L. Miller Fire Chief "I/EI.P PRF.1'F;NT FIRES"
