CENTRAL GARAGE Permission is requested to purchase a used high pressure, hot waters washer to replace the 15 year old low pressure cold water washer at $200 over the $1000 in the current budget. 2. ROADS Surface treating on Berkshire hill and Highgate,hill to Highgate Place has been completed. Spray patching program for the year is finished. 3. SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT Professional consulting engineering services should be obtained for the design and specification writing for the belt filter press. A proposal has . been received from one engineering firm. 4. PERSONNEL one Youth Program employee had a finger cut badly on the job and will not be able to return to work this summer. Bruce Hoyt has returned to limited work. Report of Zoning Officer 1. No Zoning Permits were issued during the past month. One Road Opening Permit was issued. There have been a number of complaints about house occupancy inr_the Resi- dential Zone. Letters have been written and investigations made to insure compliance with the Village Zoning Ordinance. 2. The Richard Palmer house at 206 Oak Hill Road has been described in writing by Palmer's attorn ey as complying with the law. 3. Zoning Permit for construction of a connecting building at the Corners Com- munity Center has been received and will be presented to the Board. 4. Inventory at the Mobil Stopin Shop was taken Monday, August 15 a.m. 5. Request was received for'copy of Village minutes in the Hoard action in accepting the Cornwall residence next to their place of business.
