HomeMy WebLinkAboutReport of the Engineer June 1983n ' VILLAGE OF CAYUGA HEIGHTS REPORT OF THE ENGINEER June, 1983 NORTH TRIPHAMMER CULVERTS The contractor, Hey's Enterprises, has completed work on this project. It is recommended that, upon receipt of a release of liens from the contractor, the balance due $14,226 less back charge for Village work and materials be paid. Hey's Enterprises. It is recommended that the Hey's Enterprises' bill for $1960 for additional work caused by Republic Steel Corporation delivery of pipe that did not meet the Village specification be paid. The Village had deducted the $1960 from the Republic Steel bill. PERSONNEL Bruce Hoyt returned to restricted work for one week, had additional back problems and is again not able to work. Mike Coyle's operations on his job damaged leg have been successful and he is expected back to work in a week or two. The Trustee Committee on personnel leave postponed their meeting but are expected to meet soon. EAST UPLAND SIDEWALK Grading and seeding is completed. 410 EAST UPLAND DEVELOPMENT The manhole to be installed by the Village as part of the road storm drainage system was not necessary. An extension and curving of the pipes to be completly covered will solve problems for the property owner and save the Village at least $500. The job is complete. TEXAS LANE WALKWAY Trustee intentions and desires on this walkway are requested. TEXAS LANE - FORMER KUBOTA PROPERTY Ivar Jonson has hired a landscape firm to "replace" the property, in as close as possible, that was dug up for the sewer line serving Lisa Place. This.includes the shoulder of Texas Lane. The work is in process or completed.
