Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for March 1983 The Police Department handled 82 complaints and investigated 2 motor vehicle accidents during the month. There were 36 traffic tickets and 9 parking tickets issued. There were two felony complaints, one for sexual abuse and one for burglary. There were.twenty -six misdemeanor complaints, eleven for issuing bad checks.,.five for petit larceny, four aggravated harassment, three criminal trespass, two criminal mischief, and one endangering welfare of a child. Two persons were arrested for driving while intoxicated, one person was arrested for unlawfully.dealing with a child(giving alcpholic beverages to minors) and prohibited purchase of alcoholic beverage under age 19, one person was arrested for harassment, and two persons were arrested for being in Sunset Park between 1OPM and 6AM. One juvenile was apprehended for being in Sunset Park between 1OPM and 6AM. There was a total of $722.66 in property reported lost.or stolen and $659.59 in property recovered by the Police Department. The full -time officers worked 22 hours overtime and the part -time officers worked 63 hours during the month. Re pectfully submitted, le Harlin R. McEwen Chief of Police
