Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for January 1983 The Police Department handled 65 complaints and investigated 13 motor vehicle accidents during the month. There were 18 traffic tickets and 23 parking tickets issued. There were four felony complaints, one for burglary and three for grand larceny. There were eighteen misdemeanor complaints, eight for issuing bad check, four criminal trespass, two petit larceny, two criminal mischief, and two aggravated harassment. Two persons were arrested for driving while intoxicated, one person was arrested for issuing a bad check, and one person was arrested for petit larceny (shoplifting). There was a total of $1,172.58 in property reported lost or stolen and $83.54 in property recovered by the Police Department. The full -time officers worked 15 hours overtime during the month.
