Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights From: Francis L. Miller, Chief of Fire Department Re: Fire Chief's Report for January 1983 The Fire Department answered 7 fire calls, 1 incident call, and 11 rescue calls during the month of January. The fire calls included 3 actual fires. One mutual aid car fire in the Village of Lansing, one car fire in a garage under the house, and one kitchen fire made for a busy month. The other fire calls were 1 false alarm at North East Elementary School, 2 false alarms at B.O.C.E.S., and 1 small trash fire at DeWitt Junior High School. One officer assisted the Cayuga Heights Police Department on a public service call'to check out a leaking water heater. The 11 Rescue Squad calls broke down as follows: 2 Cardiac calls 1 Abdominal pain 1 Fall 4 Motor vehicle accidents 1 Mental problem 1 Diabetic coma 1 Hip injury We had a new storm window put on the bunker's room at the Fire House this month which will keep our bunker warmer and help to cut the heat bills.
