SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for December 1982
The Police Department handled 85 complaints and investigated
9 motor vehicle accidents during the month. There were 23
traffic tickets and 18 parking tickets issued.
There was one felony complaint for grand larceny. There were
thirty -two misdemeanor complaints, twenty -two petit larceny,
three criminal trespass, two issuing bad checks, two.criminal
mischief, two aggravated harassment, and one illegal possession
of fireworks.
There was one juvenile apprehended for petit larceny.
I have been notified that the N.Y. State Contract awards have
been released for police cars and will ask the Village Board
for authorization to order a new police car to replace Car #125
which is a 1981 Chevrolet Malibu and which is two years old.
There was a total of $821.58 in property reported lost or stolen
and $221.24 in property recovered by the Police Department.
The full -time officers worked 6 hours overtime during the month
and the part -time officers worked 31 hours.
