McFarland and Johnson was not one of the consulting firms suggested by the Village. The Village Engineer and Sewage Plant Operator inspected the Morse Borg Warner plant on January 7, 1983 to verify the progress being.made and the precautions being taken to protect our plant from oil "spills" during the time the consult- ing engineers are completing their report. For the Sewage Treatment Plant office, approval is requested to purchase a new office desk chair at $235.80 and 3 office side chairs @ $78.10 - total cost $470.10. Money is available in the Sewage Plant equipment account - $100+ and the present chairs are 23 or more years old and in poor condition. STREETS N. Triphammer Rd. was patched with winter mix asphalt over the two newly installed culverts to provide better paving until a permanent paving will be installed this spring. Pot hole patching was carried out throughout the Village. The roads are in good repair. SEWER LINES The layout of the sewer lines in the Town of Dryden - Meadowlark Road and Cardinal Drive were inspected in relation to the Dryden sewage treatment contract. A detailed map of the Dryden sewer district is being sought. REPORT OF ZONING OFFICER January 1983 During the last month no zoning permits were issued and only one road opening permit was issued. A number of questions have been raised about the operation of the Mobil Station "Stop N Shop." These were spelled out in a letter from the Zoning Officer (a copy of which was sent'to Trustees). A representative of the owners will be present to discuss and hopefully settle this matter at the Board meeting. Mrs. Wanderstock was notified to apply for a zoning variance for the carport by January 30 or be subject to a court summons. Mr. Morusty's lawyer was notified to make a request for a variance by January 12, 1983.
