Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights RE: Report of the Fire Chief for the month of November 1982 There were 7 fire calls during November. We found a loose belt on a washing machine cause smoke in the building at Warrenwood Apartments. We were called to Pyramid Mall to assist Lansing Fire Department. We investigated a mattress fire in a private home. We nut out a motor fire in a clothes washer in the apartments at 709 Triphammer Road. We found an accidental alarm triggered by smoke from cooking. We had a car fire at 109 Cayuga Heights Road and we checked out an odor of smoke at Hasbrouck Apartments. We had 1 incident call at 305 Roat Street to check out a strange smell.in the house. We could find nothing except the possibility that some smoke drifting thru the neighborhood found it's way into the home. The Rescue Squad had 11 calls in the month of November broken down as follows: 1 Cardiac problem 2 Difficulty breathing 1 Full arrest 1 Choking 1 Seizure 1 Head injury 1 Personal injury 1 Fall 1 Unknown problem 1 Burn victim The bids for a new rescue truck are out and have to be returned by UEbember 15.
