SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for September 1982
The Police Department handled 89 complaints and investigated
8 motor'vehicle accidents during the month. There were 92
traffic tickets and 60 parking tickets issued.
There were three felony complaints, two for burglary and one
for grand larceny of motor vehicle. There were eighteen
misdemeanor complaints, eleven petit larceny, five criminal
mischief, one issuing bad check, and one aggravated harassment.
One person was arrested for driving while intoxicated, two
persons were arrested for disorderly conduct and one person
was arrested for being intoxicated on drugs.
There was a total of $3,411.00 in property reported lost or
stolen and $3,321.25 in property recovered by the Police Dept.
The full -time officers worked 26 hours overtime during the
month and the part -time officers worked 63 hours.
