Re: Report of the Fire Chief for September, 1982
During,; the month of September the Fire Department answered 7 fire
calls including 1 bomb threat, 4 false alarms-at school buildings,
1 mutual aid to Lansing Fire Department, and 1 mutual aid to Ithaca
Fire Department during; which we answered three calls for the City.
There were 5 incident calls which included 2 odor investigations,
1 mutual aid motor vehicle accident which lead to traffic control,
1 call to check flooding in basement, and 1 call to assist a person
down a ladder.
Rescue calls added up to 3 athletic injuries, 2 strokes, 1 personal
illness, 1 head injury, 1 mutual aid for motor vehicle accident, 2
assist with drunk and diorderly persons. This made 10 Rescue Squad
calls for the month.
I am happy to report that the annual hose testing for the Fire
Department has been completed for the year of 1982. The annual
picnic was not very well attended this ,year, but those who did
attend enjoyed it very much..
Respectfully submitted,
Francis L. Miller
Fire Chief
