Re: Report of the Fire Chief for July 1982
The Fire Department handled 6 fire calls, 1 incident, and 6 rescue calls
during the month of July. As normal there was not much activity around the
fire house in the month of July. There were 2 drills and no meetings. The
Fire Department is the sponsor of a New York State course in operating
fire pumpers. This course is taking place during the months of July and
August.
The fire calls for the month break down into one mutual aid standby, one
washer fire out on arrival, one car fire which turned out to be a broken
radiator hose, two false alarms, and one mutual aid call to Lansing.
One incident call to check on water in a house. Some roofing contractors
took part of a roof off a house and it started to rain. The entire.house
under this section of roof was soaked.
.The rescue calls were one fractured wrist, three cardiac calls, one injury
from a fall, and one possible overdose.
;spectfully submitted,
