NEW YORK 14850 • TELEPHONE 607. 287.1011 CHIEF OF POLICE February 16, 1982 Honorable Frederick G. Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights i hereby submit the report of the activities of the Cayuga Heights Police Department for the Year 1981. Although the total number of complaints increased this year, the inclusion of the number of intrusion alarms answered was included this year as a new time consuming although worthwhile service. The number of burglaries decreased this year and we believe this is partly caused by our increased vigilence of the Village. We have continued our crime prevention program during 1981 and believe this also has had a.positive impact on the decrease in burglaries. We appreciate the.cont!nuing support of the Mayor, Village Trustees and Officers and our citizens in providing what we believe is the best possible service for the Village at the least possible cost.
