VILLAGE OF CAYUGA HEIGHTS
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
MINUTES of a Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga
Heights held December 7, 1981 at 4 p.m. in the Village Hall.
PRESENT: Deputy Mayor Ronald E. Anderson; Trustees Shailer Philbrick, Jean
Robinson, Stanley Warren; Engineer John Rogers.
ABSENT: Mayor F,G, Marcham, Trustee David Allee, Trustee James Bennett.
The Board discussed the present status of application for permit for sludge removal.
It was agreed that per the Notice of Complete Application from the DEC dated
December 7, 1981, the Village is to do nothing at present, but will write of the
critical need for permits as soon as possible.
Notion made by Trustee Philbrick, seconded by Trustee Robipson:
RESOLUTION 3252 — AUTHORIZATION TO PAY BILLS SUBMTTTED BY PICKARD & ANDERSON
VOTED to: 1) pay the first bill of $3924.40 as of now, 2) second bill of $6628.88
when the Board is in receipt'of a detailed listing of change orders form DEC to
Pickard and Anderson, 3) authorize up to $1,000 for TOX tests, and 4) no further
costs without prior negotiation. Unanimously passed.
In discussing the situation on Highland Road, it was Trustee Philbrick's opinion
that additional clean out may be needed upstream, also, removal of the dike on .
the north. There was discussion of virtues of rip —rap vs. wingwalls of railroad
ties.
