NEW YORK 14850 • TELEPHONE 607. 257.1011 CHIEF OF POLICE September 21, 1981 TO: Honorable Frederick G. Marcham Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for August 1981 The Police Department handled 76 complaints and investigated 4 motor vehicle accidents during the month. There were 35 traffic tickets and 6 parking tickets issued. There were six felony complaints, three grand larceny, one robbery, one burglary, and one attempted burglary. There were twenty -six misdemeanor complaints, nine criminal mischief, five petit larceny, five criminal trespass, four bad checks, one criminal possession of stolen property, one attempted petit larceny and one assault third degree. One person was arrested for criminal trespass 2nd degree and one juvenile was apprehended for criminal trespass. Cornell University is working on adjusting the new Jessup Field lights so that they are not blinding or offensive and i should have a report for the Board at the meeting. There was a total of $4,389.49 in property reported lost or stolen and $93.18 in property recovered by the Police Department.
