Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for November 1980 The Police Department handled 79 complaints and investigated 5 motor vehicle accidents during the month. There were 26 traffic tickets and 19 parking tickets issued. There were five felony complaints, two for grand larceny, two for burglary, and one for criminal possession of a forged instrument. There were twenty - nine misdemeanor complaints, seventeen for issuing bad checks, seven for criminal mischief, three for petit larceny, one for criminal trespass and one for aggravated harassment. Two persons were arrested for driving while intoxicated, one person was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana, one was arrested for criminal mischief 4th degree, and one person was taken into custody on a Family Court Order of Protection. Two juveniles were apprehended for curfew violation and three juveniles were apprehended for disorderly conduct. There was a total of $1,752.07 in property reported lost or stolen and $92.43 in property was recovered by the Police Department. The full -time officers worked a total of 38 hours overtime and the part -time officers worked 9 hours during the month. Respectfully submitted, Harlin R. McEwen Chief of Police
