REPORT OF ENGINEER
December 1980
✓ Mail Box Policy - Snow Removal
Each year mail boxes have been bent with Village snow plows. The Village
has paid for repairs. Many times the mail boxes are not installed to allow
snow plowing. Other municipalities do not accept responsibility for mail
box damages. It is suggested that a policy requesting proper installation
of mail boxes and mail box posts be made before the Village accepts respon-
sibility for damage and notification to residents be made.
./ Lansing and Village of Cayuga Heights - Curbing at North Triphammer

plans subject to the approval of the Village of Cayuga Heights Engineer and
Police Chief is desired by the Village of Lansing.
Leaves
/ There are still leaves to collect in the Village. This seems to be an
increasing problem in time and money.
