REPORT OF ENGINEER - October 1980
SIDEWALKS
A section of sidewalk at the corner of Cayuga Park Circle and Highland Road has been
replaced. The roots of a large tree near the old sidewalk had heaved sections of
the sidewalk causing a dangerous condition. This tree was removed and the roots dug
out so that the new sidewalk would not be subject to a similar damage. A complaint
has been received from Professor Orval French of 404 Highland Road about the condi-
tion of the sidewalk in front of his house. While this sidewalk is badly spelled
and sections of it need replacing, the condition is not dangerous and there are
other sections of sidewalk in the Village that take precedence for replacement.
