REPORT OF ENGINEER
June 1980
1) King Drainage — Mr. and Mrs. King would not accept responsibility for future
maintenance on the swale drainage. Therefore,they would not sign the Village's
proposed agreement.
2) Kovacs Drainage — Drainage pipes were installed in the Village walkway. They
have been effective in draining off the water that would accumulate on the walkway
and on the adjoining property of Mrs. Kovacs and Cornwall.
3) 1979 Energy Conservation through Improved Transportation Board Act — The Engineer
attended a County meeting on this subject June 5th. Village of Cayuga Heights can
receive $31,212 in state funds for street work through a matching fund program. The
first step is passing a resolution which will be available at the Board meeting.
4) Two bids were received for a used truck from Cayuga Leasing, Inc. One was for
$12,750 net and one for $21,500. It is recommended that no action be taken on
the bids.
REPORT OF ZONING OFFICER
1) A letter of opposition from Lyman Parratt on the sale of the property at 10: Overlook
Road to a sorority was received. The prospective seller was informed that if the
use of the property was to change a plan would have to be submitted to the Board
of Trustees.
2) The proposed sale of 512 Wyckoff Road for a rooming house has raised questions on
parking. Again the party was informed the Zoning Ordinance requires a plan be
presented to the Board.
3) Board action confirmation on the Flickinger application for a sign permit is needed.
4) One permit was issued for a new house for an estimated cost of $49,00. One permit
was issued for a sign permit. One permit for a change in use was issued which in-
volves a new home occupation.
