The Fire Council requests permission to purchase the following items for which
the necessary funds are available in the Fire Department budget.
1. A rug to cover a deteriorating floor in the bunk room at a cost of $192.00.
The bunk room and bathroom have been newly painted by the firemen.
2. An aspirator to add to our first aid equipment at a cost of $300.00.
3. We need to convert four of our Scott Air Masks to pressure demand and four
air tanks need to be hydrostically tested. The regulators for the masks are
over five years old, and it is a safety rule that after five years the regu-
lators are required to be overhauled at the factory. The cost for all of
this is $900.
A motion approving these purchases would be appreciated.
