Marcham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for June 1979 The Police Department handled 71 complaints and investigated 3 motor vehicle accidents during the month. There were six felony complaints, three for burglary and three for grand larceny. There were twenty -four misdemeanor complaints, eleven for petit larceny, four for bad checks, four for criminal trespass, two for criminal mischief, one for aggravated harassment, one for public lewdness, and one for criminal possession of stolen property. Two persons were arrested for driving while intoxicated, one person was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana, one person was arrested for aggravated harassment, and one person was arrested for possession of stolen property. Four juveniles were apprehended during the month, two ten year olds for criminal trespass, one thirteen year old for petit larceny and one fifteen year old for burglary. The Cayuga Heights Police Department will be participating along with all other law enforcement agencies in Tompkins County in a display at the Tompkins County Fair from August 7th through the 11th. There was a total of $1,838.21 in property reported lost or stolen during the month, and $557.37 in property recovered by the Police Department.
