George, Fire Chief RE: Report of the Cayuga Heights Fire Department for the month of June 1979 There were 9 general alarms and 11 incident calls in June 1979. On June 2nd, at 1:37 p.m., the Department was called to 316 Highland Road for a kitchen oven fire. Seventeen men and 3 trucks responded. A car fire called out the Department on June 3rd, at 9:56 p.m. Twenty -two men and two trucks responded. On June 6th, at 4:21 a.m., the Department was called to Pyramid Mall because of an alarm malfunction. Eleven men and 3 trucks responded. On June 7th, at 6:21 a.m., an alarm malfunction was responsible for a call to Pyramid Mall. Twelve men and 3 trucks responded. A car fire at 1314 Hanshaw Road called out the Department on June 12th, at 12:49 a.m. Eleven men and 2 trucks responded. On June 18, at 6 :29 p.m., the Department was called to BOCES, Bldg. G; twenty -two men and 5 trucks responded. An alarm malfunction was responsible for the call. On June 19th, at 4:59 p.m., an alarm malfunction at 607 Hanshaw Road called out the Department. Fifteen men and 4 trucks responded. On June 23rd, at 11:53 a.m., the Department was called to the Northeast School because of an alarm malfunction. Seventeen men and 5 trucks responded. An oven fire called out the Department on June 23rd at 7:15 P.M. to 707 The Park- way. Eighteen men and 2 trucks responded. The incident calls were as follows: Medical emergency - 7; gasoline spill - 1; trash pile fire - 1; fire in / under a sewer grate - 2.
