SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for April 1979
The Police Department handled 80 complaints and investigated 8 motor
vehicle accidents during the month.
There were two felony complaints, one for burglary and one for rape.
There were twenty misdemeanor complaints, five for criminal mischief,
five for petit larceny, four for bad checks, two for criminal trespass,
two for aggravated harassment, and one each for public lewdness and
criminal possession of stolen property.
Two persons were arrested for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property
3rd Degree, two persons were arrested for Driving While Intoxicated,
one person was arrested for issuing a bad check and one person was
arrested for petit larceny.
There was a total of $649.13 in property reported lost or stolen during
the month, and $277.17 in property recovered by the Police Department.
The full -time officers worked a total of 49 hours overtime and the
part -time officers worked 155 hours during the month.
