Mar.cham, Mayor Members of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for December 197$ The Police Department handled 59 complaints and investigated 10 motor vehicle accidents. There were 73 traffic tickets and 20 parking tickets issued during the month. There were three felony complaints, one for burglary, one for grand larceny, and one for attempted burglary. There were twenty -two misdemeanor complaints, six for criminal mischief, six for petit larceny, fire for criminal trespass, two for bad checks, one for aggravated harassment, one for illegal possession of fireworks, and one for illegal possession of weapon. Five persons were arrested for grand larceny third degree, one for driving while intoxicated, one for criminal mischief fourth degree, and one for leaded firearm in vehicle. 'There was a total of $1063.61 in property reported lost or stolen during the month, and $673.61 in property recovered by the Police Department. The full -time officers worked 20 hours overtime and the part -time officers worked a total of 95 hours during the month. HRM:bp Respectfully, Harlin McEwen Chief of Police
