4 p.m. in the Village Hall.
PRESENT: Mayor F.G. Marcham, Trustees David J. Allee, Ronald E. Anderson,
Sheller S. Philbrick, Engineer /Zoning Officer John B. Rogers, Attorney Roger B.
Sovocool.
ABSENT: Trustees David P(mentel, Rana F. Randolph, Stanley W. Warren/
The Board dlscussedthe proposed development on the eastern Village line and within
the Town of Ithaca and concluded that before it took official action, it should
consult with Mr. Ivar Johnson, the developer, regarding his plans for diverting a
stream and reshaping contours of land. The Board instructed the Mayor to arrange
a meeting between Mr. Johnson and the Board as soon as possible.
The Board also considered briefly a proposed Local Law N5 of the Village of Lansing
whose purpose is to rezone certain parcels of land. The opinion offered to the
Board that rezoning, if carried through in the same manner as that of adjacent
Village of Lansing properties, might result in multiresidence buildings that would
accomodate up to 400 people. The Board instructed the Mayor to inquire of Mayor
Smldt what is the nature of the Village of Lansing's plans regarding this develop-
ment.
