VILLAGE OF CAYUGA HEIGHTS

Village of Cayuga Heights
SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for November 1978
The Police Department handled 75 complaints and investigated 7 motor vehicle
accidents. There were 80 traffic tickets and 35 parking tickets issued during
the month.
There were five felony complaints, four for residential burglaries and one for
attempted rape. There wore twenty -six misdemeanor complaints, eight for crimi-
nal mischief, seven for criminal trespass, five for Issuing bad checks, three
for petit larceny, and three for aggravated harassment.
One adult was arrested for Burglary and one Juvenile was petitioned into Family
Court for Juvenile delinquency in connection with four residential burglaries.
One adult was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and one adult was arrested
for petit larceny and trespass.
i have started the Inventory which Is required by the State and already realize
It is going to be a time consuming and lengthy Job.
There was a total of $1511.51 in property reported lost or stolen during the
month, and $102.75 in property recovered by the Police Department.
The full -time officers worked 8 hours of overtime, and the part -time officers
worked a total of 98 hours during the month.
