RE: Report of the Fire Chief for the month of September 1978
There were 5 general fire alarms and 5 incident reports for the month of Sept.
On September 3rd, a+ 10:50 a.m., the Department responded to.a false alarm caused
by a malfunction at 607 Hanshaw Road. Four trucks and 20 men responded.
On September 13th, at 5:23 p.m., the Department was called for a car fire at
139 Salem Drive. Two trucks and 18 men responded.
A clothes dryer fire at 107 Simsbury Drive was responsible for a fire call on
September 26th, at 11:04 a.m. Four trucks and II men responded.
On September 29th, at 12:24 p.m., a malfunction caused a false alarm at
803 Hanshaw Road. 'three trucks and 14 men responded.
Also on September 29th, at 7:38 p.m., the Department was cal led.for an apartment
fire at Lansing North Apartments Bldg. 14 where a clothes dryer was on fire.
The incident calls wore: first aid - I; electric pole fire - I; gasoline flush -1;
