REPORT OF ZONING OFFICER - June 1978
During the last nani-h two pormits were issued for the construction of new residences
for a total of $225,000 estimated construction cost. Also, a oermit was issued for
the construction of an addition to a residential property at an estimated construc-
tion cost of $3,000.
A request for a zoning permit was received from Mr. and Mrs. John Stone for Lot 11
on Sheldon Road. This request was denied by the Zoning Officer, as the requost was
for building a house that covered Just 12% of a lot which cohsisied of the original
Loi• II and a strip of ground purchased separately by the Stones from the Bradfields
which was sixteen *wP;h width, along the entire back of Lot 11. Lot II was
granted a variance by the Zoning Board of Appeals for a construction lot as a
retroactive use status. The lot for which a permit was requested did not meet the
requirements of 150 feet by 125 feet as stated in the zoning ordinance.
The Zoning Board of Appeals met on June 12, 1978 to hear a request from Mr, and Mrs.
Orval C. French al- 404 Highland Road to separate from their property a building
lot. This request was denied.
