SEWER LINES
The sewer lines constructed in connection with the additions at the Pyramid Mall and
the sewer lines that were constructed during the original building of Pyramid Mall
were again inspected by the Engineer and the Public Works Foreman. Work on these
sewer lines and manholes is still required before a statement can be issued to the
Village of Lansing stating they meet Village requirements.
STORM WATER
Numerous requests are still being received to have the Village do something about
stream flow and surface water flow on private property. Long discussions have been
held with John Babcock, E. W. Jones, Ernie Cole, Joe Cosentini, Professor Mermin,
and Mrs. Bowman to mention a few. It is suggested that a statement be made by the
Village explaining the Village position in regard to stream flow and surface water
flout on private property and that it be distributed by letter and /or an article in
the local publication.
WATER LINES
Current bills received from the Water Commission for work on the Village water lines
by the Commission personnel are being reviewed and will be presented at the next
Board meeting.
• LOCKE PROPERTY
Weather pernitting, a series of level readings will be taken io determine the
elevation of the basement of the Locke house in relation to the culvert running
under the road in front of the Locke property.
REPORT OF THE ZONING OFFICER - April 1978
Restrictions on the permission to develop the lands of Lagrand E. Chase on Pleasant
Grove Road have been drawn up by the Engineer and the Attorney. Copies of these
restrictions will be mailed to the Trustees or will be available at the meeting.
