Marcham, Mayor Hembers of the Board of Trustees Village of Cayuga Heights SUBJECT: Report of the Police Chief for February 1978 The Police Department handled 44 complaints and investigated 7 motor e;�hicle accidents. There were 25 traffic tickets and 29 parking tickets issued during the month. There were no felony complaints during the month. There were sixteen misdemeanor complaints, five for bad checks, four for criminal mischief., four for petit larceny, two for unlawfully using slugs, and one for &ggra:•..a:ed harassment. There were two juveniles apprehended for clinging to vehicles and two for criminal mischief during the month. It is time to order a new police car to replace the 1976 Nova (Car if124) which will be two years old in May. I therefore request authorization fcr the Village Clerk to advertise for bids to be submitted by noon on Friday, March 31, 1978 and to be awarded at the Village Board meeting on Monday, April 3, 1978. There was a total of $518.00 in property reported lost or stolen during the month and $124.70 in property recovered by the police department.
