HomeMy WebLinkAboutExecutive Committee Mtg. 10/3/1977MINUTES EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEET114G The Board of Trustees and Village Officers of the Village of Cayuga Heights met in.Executive Session on 10/3/77 at 7 :30 p.m. at the Fire Station. PRESENT: Mayor F. G. Marcham; Trustees David J. Al lee, Ronald E. Anderson, David Pimentel, Shaller S. Phiibrick, Rare F. Randolph, Jean R. Robinson; Attorney Roger B. Sovocool; Engineer John B. Rogers; Treasurer Gordon B. Wheeler; Police Chief Harlin R. McEwen; Fire Chief Lowell T. George. Moved by Trustee Pimentel, seconded by Trustee Randolph: VOTED to pay Hubert Landgraf the sum of $1750.00 for finishing the floor in the Village Hall by sanding and resurfacing. This action to be confirmed at the next regular meeting of the Village Board. Unanimously passed. Members of the Board and Village Officers discussed at length the problems associated with the flow of surface water in the Williamsburg Park area in times of heavy rainfall. They discussed also possible means of solving these problems and the separate approaches to be made to problems that directly concern the Village and its rights of way and problems that arise • on private property. The consensus was that the Engineer should prepare a statement regarding the chief danger points that fall within the areas of Village responsibility and that he should offer preliminary recommendations for remedies at the next meeting of the Board.
