Minutes 9/6/1977• VILLAGE OF CAYUGA HEIGHTS MINUTES of a Special fleeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Cayuga Heights held at 4:00 p.m. on September 6,1977 In the Fire Station. PRESENT: Mayor F. G. Marcham; Trustees David J. Allee, Ronald E. Anderson, Shaller S. Philbrick, David Plmentel, Jean R. Robinson; Treasurer Gordon B. Wheeler; Attorney Roger B. Sovocool; Engineer John B. Rogers. ABSENT: Trustee Rane F. Randolph. OTHERS PRESENT: Robin Martin of radio station WTKO. The Mayor Invited Trustee Philbrick to distribute the documents now available con- cerning the financial affairs of the Southern Cayuga Lake Intermunicipal Water Commission. He did so and explained that three main issues confronted the Village. 1. How to raise the $50,785.08, which was the Village share of the funds now needed by the Water Commission. 2. To examine the Smidt Committee report on future commission financing. 3. To consider proposals made by the Commission concerning the priorities for maintenance and repair of the Water System in the Village. • Pbved by Trustee Philbrick, seconded by Trustee Pimentel: RESOLUTION 2752 - DEFICIT PAYMENT - SCLIWC VOTED that the Village pay Its share of the Water Commission deficit in the an:>unt of $50,785.08. Unanimously passed. �t �t t•bved by Trustee Anderson, seconded by Trustee Philbrick: RESOLUTION 2753 - APPROVE REVENUE ANTICIPATION NOTE VOTED that -the Village raise $50,765.03 by a Revenue Anticipation Note for one year, the note to be met by revenue from a Water Benefit Assessment. Unanimously passed. Board members agreed to study the Smidt Committee Report and to offer appropriate comments on it at the regular meeting of the Board, September 19, 1977. The Board asked the Engineer to study the order of priorities among items for repair or maintenance In the water system within the Village and to present his 1191 recommendations on the policy to be followed In this matter at the next meeting of the Board.
